Summary

The Assistant Manager/Manager - Learning & Development is responsible for overseeing the

training and development initiatives across Heritance Aarah. They ensure that all departments

are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences,

maintain service standards, and support the resort's operational goals as per the LQA guidelines.

This role involves identifying training needs, designing learning programs, facilitating training

sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of development activities to foster a culture of

continuous learning and improvement.


Main duties & responsibilities include;

  • Drive hotel training initiatives and maintain service standards aligned with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) requirements.
  • Analyze training needs based on guest feedback, quality audits, and hotel-wide performance indicators.
  • Design, schedule, and deliver resort-specific and corporate-mandated training programs through an annual plan.
  • Monitor training attendance, maintain accurate records, and compile resort and sector reports with L&D Executive support.
  • Regularly meet with department trainers to strengthen departmental training efforts and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Assist in the facilitation of quality certification audits and the development of L&D materials, SOPs, and brand standards.
  • Actively participate in corporate L&D projects, ensuring successful implementation across sector properties.
  • Actively support Corporate L&D in delivering corporate projects related to sustainability, engagement, LMS work and quality assurance across the sector.
