Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Personnel to join our Pharma International Business division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the international expansion of our pharmaceutical products. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new international business opportunities and market trends.
- Analyze competitive landscape and identify potential areas for growth.
- Evaluate market potential and feasibility for new product launches.
- Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company targets.
- Identify and engage with potential clients, partners, and distributors in international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute international sales strategies.
- Participate in international trade shows, conferences, and other promotional activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Regulatory and Compliance:
- Ensure all international business activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate with the regulatory affairs team to facilitate product registrations and approvals in new markets.
- Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with international clients and partners.
- Manage and oversee contractual agreements to ensure compliance and successful execution.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and progress against targets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully expanding business in international markets.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and international market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
