Sandhar Technologies is a leading automotive component manufacturer, committed to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a talented and experienced Lock Design Engineer to join our dynamic design and development team in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical lock systems and related components for two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and other relevant CAD tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct design validation and verification activities including prototyping, testing, and performance evaluations.
• Work on cost optimization and design improvements based on feedback from production and customers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain accurate design documentation and version control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in lock design or mechanical product design in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of other CAD software (like CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of mechanical mechanisms, GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with APQP, DFMEA, PPAP, and other automotive development standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Knowledge of keyless entry systems or smart locking mechanisms.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
