Responsibilities
The Body Shop Assistant Manager is responsible to develop business through insurance adjusters, customers and other sources to assure an adequate sales volume, provide a reasonable department operating profit and maintain customer satisfaction, while controlling expenses
The Body Shop Assistant Manager directs the activities of Body Shop employees in performing body repairs, meeting time schedules and productivity levels and maintaining quality standards
Understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect Body Shop operations such as hazardous waste disposal, right-to-know and environmental updates
Attend meetings
Strive for team-work with other departments
Hold departmental meetings periodically to discuss problem areas
Perform periodic reviews
Qualifications
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Experienced in Auto Body Repair
Working knowledge of body repair methods
Excellent communication and phone/computer skills
Valid driver's license and good driving record
