Role Description


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific expertise in statutory compliance and financial reporting. You will be responsible for managing daily accounting transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial reporting and audits for the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Accounting: Oversee daily accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
  • Vendor and Travel Bill Management: Verify and process vendor bills, employee travel bills, and other operational expenses.
  • Statutory Dues & Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payments of statutory dues, including TDS, GST, EPF, etc.
  • Reconciliation & Month-End Close: Prepare monthly reconciliations, assist with month-end closing activities, and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
  • Management Information System (MIS) Reporting: Generate monthly MIS reports and provide analysis for decision-making.
  • Taxation & GST Compliance: Handle all GST-related matters (GSTR1, GSTR2A, GSTR3B), TDS filings, and ensure timely reconciliation. Oversee the filing of GST and TDS returns and reconciliation with Form 16 and Form 26AS.
  • Investor Reporting: Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reports and performance analysis for investors.
  • Compliance: Support the preparation of periodic compliance reports for regulatory bodies such as RBI and other statutory authorities.
  • Audit Support: Prepare audit schedules, address audit queries, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Maintain proper documentation for audits and related matters.
  • Tax Audits & Returns: Assist in preparing tax audit reports and tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Background: CA Semi-qualified or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector.


  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and other compliance matters relevant to the NBFC sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), accounting software, and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
