As an Assistant Management Accountant you will support:

\n

\n
• Month end close and production of financial statements, analytic work to understand movements and Business partnering stakeholders. Vat, Tax and audit responsibilities for the business.
\n
• A modern approach to finance in regards to automation and systems with ideas to streamline current processes.
\n
• Monthly production of financial statements following a successful close
\n
• Build a thorough understanding of all costs incurred by the business to support decision-making by business partnering operations and getting close to them.
\n
• Understand key cost drivers that flex with volume
\n
• Support the Finance Business Partner on weekly and monthly reporting and variance analysis. Including the analysis of monthly performance to Budget and/or Forecast of financial and non-financial information, evaluating variance impact and identifying trends
\n
• Review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by assistant management accountant
\n
• Management of audit process, developing relationships with external auditors
\n
• Adhering to and developing internal financial controls, improving processes where necessary
\n
• Working closely with individual P&L owners to ensure accurate monthly reporting and in line with budget
\n
• Working closely with the transactions accounting team and the Finance Controller on annual budget and re-forecasting quarterly
\n
• Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company
\n
• Working closely with the Finance Director and Financial Controller on adhoc projects
\n

This role is a hybrid role based in West London with 3 days on site (potentially 4 in first few weeks).

\n

The Role does require a level of resilience however, in return you will be exposed to the complete workings of a corporate organisation, you will be exposed to the entire Finance function and be empowered to find and implement solutions.

\n
