Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Import Manager with 2-4 years of experience to join our team at our Head Office on Circular Road, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing import operations and providing administrative support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the import process, ensuring compliance with all local and international regulations.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Prepare and review import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
Monitor shipment schedules and track inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
Assist in negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers and service providers.
Provide administrative support to senior management, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing travel arrangements.
Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and related documentation.
Stay updated on changes in import regulations and ensure the company’s compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in import operations or a similar role.
Strong understanding of import regulations and customs procedures.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with import/export software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
