Summary

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant General Manager (Sales, Cloud & Software) located in Yangon at Global Technology. The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing customer satisfaction, general management, sales, customer service, and team management on a day-to-day basis.


Requirements

  • Developing and executing the overall sales strategy for cloud and software offerings.
  • Drive sales performance through pipeline management, forecasting, and account strategy planning.
  • Oversee key accounts and strategic customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technical, support) to deliver value-driven client solutions.
  • Assist in crafting and executing integrated marketing campaigns to promote cloud/software services.
  • Develop competitive positioning, product messaging, and sales enablement tools.
  • Manage branding, events, lead generation, and digital marketing efforts in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
  • Mentor and manage sales and marketing team members to achieve departmental KPIs.
  • Identify new business opportunities, alliances, and channel partnerships.
  • Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and performance reviews with executive leadership.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in cloud services, enterprise software.
  • Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales targets and driving marketing ROI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing models (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and software licensing models.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Experience working in B2B tech environment.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
