ABOUT THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Genera Manager in leading the technical strategy and operations of their North American facilities. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, capable of managing complex technical projects, and adept at problem-solving within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the General Manager in daily operations and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee the preventive maintenance of all manufacturing equipment.
• Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager during their absence.
• Monitor and analyze operational reports, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and suppliers to ensure effective maintenance and repair operations.
• Manage technical budgets, forecasting, and procurement to optimize resources.
• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all parts manufactured and repaired meet stringent quality standards.
• Respond swiftly to technical emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Manage technical inventories and oversee necessary purchases.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting, including expertise in Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in a technical role within an industrial setting.
• A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications.
