Job Title: Assistant General Manager – Dealer Development

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh / Bengaluru, Karnataka / Mumbai, Maharashtra

Qualifications: B.Tech or BE (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics)

Industry Preference: Automotive / Industrial Equipment / B2B Sales Environments

Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience


Purpose of Job:

To develop and manage new and existing dealers at the national level to optimize B2B sales of products, parts, and services, aligned with company strategy. The role involves dealer performance management, training, compliance, and sales growth, ensuring long-term sustainable dealer relationships and national sales target achievement.


Main Responsibilities:


Financial KPI Management:

* Set up sales and marketing plans for dealers in consultation with branch teams.

* Systematically track results against national dealer budget goals.

* Coordinate with Finance for dealer rebate codes, target letters, and quarterly performance reporting.


Performance Management:

* Conduct quarterly, half-yearly, and annual performance reviews of dealers.

* Drive and monitor dealer sales across all target groups and product categories.

* Support branch and national managers in dealer budget planning and tracking.


Training & Development:

* Facilitate product and application training for dealers (core, non-core, entry, mid, advanced levels).

* Coordinate training nominations as per the scheduled calendar.

* Ensure dealers are trained on Infonet systems for order booking, online sales, and warranty management.


Dealer Support & Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain long-term, productive relationships with key dealer accounts.

* Conduct periodic visits to identify challenges and improvement areas.

* Ensure timely resolution of dealer grievances and smooth account transitions.


Dealer Agreement & Compliance Management:

* Identify potential new dealers with branch teams for annual budget plans.

* Facilitate dealer screening, onboarding, agreements, and handholding.

* Periodically review dealer lists, offboard inactive accounts, and ensure dealer audits.


Sales Management & Campaign Execution:

* Introduce and promote new concepts, products, services, and campaigns.

* Identify support areas (customer visits, demonstrations) and facilitate branch coordination.

* Recommend schemes, trade participation, branding, and report visits in CRM.


Policy & Compliance:

* Adhere to HR, Finance, and Service policies.

* Ensure strict compliance with dealer agreement terms, payment conditions, and assigned territory rules.


KPIs (Implied):

* Achievement of national dealer budget goals.

* Dealer performance against set targets.

* Effective dealer training completion.

* Successful onboarding of new dealers and offboarding of inactive accounts.

* Compliance with policy and audit standards.
