Summary

Privash Ltd. is a family-owned holdings company with a diverse and growing portfolio spanning Israel, Italy, and the US. We’re looking for a proactive Assistant Controller to join our tight-knit team, supporting the company’s financial operations and assisting in the execution of day-to-day tasks, especially those related to our international real estate activities.

As our Assistant Controller, you’ll be deeply involved in the operational and financial backbone of our business. From tracking payments and organizing reports to traveling for on-site property follow-ups, this role requires someone who’s eager to take ownership of routine financial tasks and support the owner directly. You’ll gain meaningful exposure to international real estate while performing essential work that keeps the company running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Support:

  • Assist in tracking cash flow, managing bank accounts, and handling foreign exchange across Israel, Italy, and the US.
  • Support the organization and execution of monthly payments, expense tracking, and basic reconciliations.
  • Help manage real estate income (e.g., rent) and expenses (e.g., taxes, insurance).
  • Communicate and coordinate with external legal, accounting, and tax advisors as needed.

Operational Duties:

  • Travel to Italy (~10 short business trips/year) for site visits, meetings with local contractors, and tenant interactions.
  • Conduct property walkthroughs and coordinate practical on-site needs with local partners.
  • Maintain internal processes and structured documentation for ongoing financial and operational activities.
  • Support the owner in routine and urgent tasks — including admin tasks, follow-ups, and direct execution of action items.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification (required).
  • Approximately 1–2 years of finance or accounting experience, including internship.
  • Fluency in Hebrew and English; Italian is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort with confidential information and independent execution of assigned tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally, primarily to Italy.

What We Offer

  • A chance to grow within a real estate company with international scope.
  • Practical, hands-on experience across finance and operations.
  • Close collaboration with the company owner and involvement in real-world business execution.
  • Full support for international travel, including a company car and travel expense coverage.
