We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance team and support the delivery of timely and accurate financial operations across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
Support Department Heads with cost-effective strategies to maximise profitability
Ensure compliance with credit approval and collection policies
Monitor and manage payroll procedures and reporting
Maintain and reconcile all in-house ledgers
Monitor debtor balances and implement debt recovery procedures
Manage hotel cashflow effectively
Develop and improve financial systems and reporting processes
Oversee audits to ensure compliance with financial standards
Uphold strict cash handling procedures and policies
Reconcile and deposit owner payments in line with management agreements
Authorise outgoing payments in collaboration with Financial Controller and GM
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasting with Department Heads
Provide timely and accurate financial and statistical reports to all departments
Act as Financial Controller in their absence
