Mon-Fri 8:15-4:30 PM and select evening and weekends.
Hours per Week 37.5 Months per Year 12 Purpose of Position
The Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for:
The development and implementation of the Admissions' strategic marketing and communication plans;
design and content of marketing messaging and communication material;
oversight and delivery of Admissions' marketing communications, social media platforms, and website;
In coordination with the Admissions' leadership, executes external communications, including direct mailings, emails, promotions, and external events.
Primary Responsibilities
The development and implementation of the Admissions' strategic marketing and communication plans.
Create compelling content for a variety of platforms, including the university website, social media, email campaigns, print materials, and presentations.
Oversight and delivery of Admissions' marketing communications, social media platforms, and website.
Executes external communications, including direct mailings, emails, promotions, and external events, including analyzing data and trends to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and recommend improvements.
Meeting with campus constituents to align and realize marketing and communications strategy, including collaboration with the University's marketing and communications team to align admissions messaging with institutional branding.
Attending and assisting with Admissions events (on and off campus).
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with marketing and design, social media management, and website design.
Ability to write persuasively and demonstrate an understanding and incorporation of data.
Successful demonstration of balancing multiple tasks and communication campaigns.
Experience with Microsoft Office software, web content management, and related marketing design platforms.
Experience with Slate CRM mailing campaigns preferred.
