JOB REQUIREMENTS: St. Norbert College (SNC), a nationally-ranked,
private, Catholic, liberal arts college is seeking an Assistant Director
of Annual Giving. This position will report to and collaborate with the
Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations to manage and enhance
annual giving initiatives, focusing on donor acquisition, retention, and
engagement. The Assistant Director plays a critical leadership role in
advancing the college\'s fundraising initiatives, including digital
engagement strategies, crowdfunding campaigns, campus philanthropy
Programs, And Strategic Outreach Efforts. Specific Responsibilities
Digital Engagement Coordination - - Design and implement tailored
digital engagement strategies for first-time donors, including
personalized thank-you messages, stewardship emails, and follow-up
content to nurture long-term relationships. - Develop and execute
digital campaigns targeting consecutive donors, utilizing segmented
email marketing, recognition programs, and digital impact reporting to
strengthen donor loyalty. - Collaborate with Advancement Team members to
craft compelling digital content that keeps donors informed about the
impact of their gifts, what is happening on campus, highlight success
stories, and encourages continued engagement and giving. - Work with the
Alumni Team to develop a targeted alumni newsletter for enhanced
engagement with the alumni population. Strategic Outreach & Student
Staff Leadership - - Supervise and collaborate with 2 full-time student
workers to develop and implement strategies for donor acquisition,
retention, and engagement. - Develop and refine a multichannel outreach
approach that includes creating phone and text scripts, and identifying
new methods to engage the SNC community. Examples include ThankViews,
social media spotlights, and emails. - Oversee the performance,
training, and development of the student workers to ensure the
successful execution of outreach campaigns and donor engagement efforts.
Crowdfunding Campaign Strategy & Management - - Collaborate closely with
the Director of Annual Giving and Donor Relations to reimagine and
streamline the college\'s crowdfunding initiatives, focusing on
enhancing program effectiveness and donor engagement. - Lead the
planning, execution, and evaluation of two primary crowdfunding windows
each year, working in close partnership with campus departments such as
athletics, student organizations, and alumni reunions to ensure each
campaign aligns with key institutional priorities. - Oversee the
management of crowdfunding technology platforms, vendor relationships,
and contracts, ensuring smooth operation and successful campaigns during
each fundraising window. - Develop and implement strategies with
Advancement team members and campus partners to engage donors and
volunteers, aiming to achieve fundraising targets during these focused
campaign periods. - Coordinate post-campaign stewardship to ensure
continued donor engagement and cultivation, fostering long-term
relationships and future giving. Build the on-campus community\'s
spirit, pride, and understanding of philanthropy - - Develop and support
all partner on campus philanthropy awareness programs to create a
pipeline of future donors. This includes students, faculty, and staff. -
Create and manage comprehensive initiatives that educate students about
philanthropy, including awareness campaigns, leadership opportunities,
and the senior class gift program, to build a strong culture of
giving. - Manage a student worker to assist in developing and executing
initiatives aimed at enhancing the on-campus community\'s pride in
philanthropy, providing them with leadership opportunities to engage
peers and foster a deeper understanding of giving. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor\'s Degree in a relevant
field. - Demonstrated experience in fundraising, marketing, event
management, or related fi lds requiring strong communication,
Organizational, And Analytical Skills. - Previous Experience With
VanillaSoft or similar calling software is preferred but not required. -
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse campus
environment or commitment to do so as an employee of St. Norbert
College. - Proven ability to think strategically and analyze data to
inform decision-making and improve performance. - Strong interpersonal
skills, with the ability to manage student staff and interact
professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors,
students, and faculty. - Expertise in developing and managing
multi-faceted programs, especially those related to fundraising or
student engagement. - High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite,
Google Apps, and Workday; ability to learn new software systems and
tools as required. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and
verbal, with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences. -
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
