Job Summary Job Summary Under direction of the Senior Director, Facilities, Maintenance, Operations & Transportation, to oversee the maintenance program of the District and to supervise the supervisors of various trades (i.e. carpentry, electrical, heavy equipment, locksmith, painting, plumbing) and any trades-related supervisorial subordinates. The position may directly supervise multidisciplinary trades positions assigned to the Maintenance Department for the purpose of operating a "Special Projects Maintenance Team" in coordination with subordinate staff. To plan, schedule, coordinate, and control financial management the work of maintenance and repair teams performing trades services at various District sites within authorized budget allocations for personnel, supplies and materials. Incumbent is expected to develop methods and procedures and to solve problems encountered using independent judgment consistent with policy, regulations, or departmental standards.
