As the Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition, you will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and play a crucial role within our Human Resources division. You will oversee the Talent Acquisition team and play a key role in attracting and building a diverse and skilled workforce that aligns with IMDA’s mission of driving Singapore’s digital economy and fostering a vibrant media landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a team to ensure IMDA attracts and retains the best talent in the infocomm and media industries
Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with IMDA's long-term objectives and the evolving needs of the digital economy
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify critical talent needs and create targeted recruitment campaigns for specialised roles in emerging technologies and media
Leverage data analytics and market insights to optimise recruitment processes and improve the quality of hires
Implement innovative recruitment approaches and practices to enhance candidate experience and streamline the hiring process
Ensure compliance with Government Instruction Manual (IM) and regulations
Work closely with other HR functional teams within the HR department to achieve common outcomes
Requirements
Background in Human Resources with a specialisation in talent acquisition and recruitment
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Prior experience in the Public Service would be a strong advantage
Strong understanding of the tech, infocomm and media industries, including emerging trends and skill requirements
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making
Experience with Workday will be advantageous
