The Assistant Coordinator assists in the daily operations of the Certified Nursing Assistant program and is responsible for providing extraordinary customer service to students, faculty, staff, partners and visitors. Duties and Responsibilities Commitment to CCRI’s Mission: Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment Work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive and student-centered environment, with students of various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life-experiences Customer Focus: Serve as staff in workforce offices; assist individuals seeking information about the Certified Nursing Assistant program and services Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Certified Nursing Assistant program requirements, policies and procedures for use in serving students and applicable employers Ensure highest possible level of quality and responsiveness, including internal/external communications, training, customer services, and all other applicable processes and functions Maintain the confidentiality of all transactions Program Support: Assist in scheduling and coordinating assigned programs and services, including instructors and/or staff necessary to fulfill program needs Assist in the coordination of preparing all program materials and program delivery logistics (rooms, books, materials, equipment, etc.) Assist students in the interpretation of testing and assessment results Communicate effectively with Coordinators and other staff in order to ensure the continued successful operation of the Certified Nursing Assistant program Reporting and Data Management: Responsible for entry of student registration tracking and data input into student information system Assist in the maintenance of individual records and documentation Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external purposes Departmental Support: Attend in-service and other job-related trainings and offerings Assist in all program special events Other duties as required Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalency Advanced computer spreadsheet, database and word processing experience Competencies The most suitably qualified candidate will possess the following: Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Reports To Director of Workforce Program Delivery or designee Campus Location Primarily located at the Lincoln Campus Full-time/Part-time Part-Time Shift, Days, and Additional Work Schedule Information 19 hours per week (925 hours annually), standard; evenings, weekend work Work Schedule Calendar Benefits No Salary/Hourly Rate Additional Salary Information Licenses, Tools and Equipment Environmental Conditions This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions Desired Start Date ASAP Position End Date (if temporary or grant)
