Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the production of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Maintain a system of accounting records and ensure the implementation of effective controls.
• Implement and manage a comprehensive set of controls and budgets.
• Supervise and mentor the financial reporting staff.
• Assist with the oversight of all accounting transactions and processes.
• Play a key role in the planning and preparation of the annual company budget.
• Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial forecasts for Senior Management, the Board, and the Bank.
• Evaluate new technology and software applications to enhance financial data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT on software upgrades and process enhancements to improve efficiency in the finance area.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance.
• 4+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement preparation.
