This position is responsible for assisting in the management of accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and contributing to financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting, particularly within the labels and packaging industry. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. * Support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions. * Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed variance analysis and financial insights. * Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, recommending improvements as necessary. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives. * Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules. * Monitor inventory transactions and cost accounting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. * Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring company compliance. Qualifications: * Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. * Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * High attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
