Our client in Columbia, TN, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the leadership team and will train over the coming year with the express goal of moving into the Controller position. This is perfect for anyone that wants to avoid the commute up to Nashville and work locally in the Columbia area.

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for:

• Supervision of other Accounting Team members
• Support the Controller on scheduled and ad hoc tasks
• Supervise completion of month-end close
• Provide Financial Reports to senior management
• Preparation of Financial Statements

The Assistant Controller will be well-compensated:

• Salary up to $110k
• Discretionary Bonus
• 3 Weeks of vacation

The ideal Assistant Controller candidate will possess:

• Bachelors degree required
• CPA preferred but not required
• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
