LaSalle Network is hiring an Assistant Controller for a growing Chicago-based company that's as ambitious as it is people-focused. In this hybrid role, you'll work three days a week from their downtown office, directly supporting the CFO and leading the accounting function with ownership and integrity. Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Build and enforce financial procedures that meet compliance standards.
• Analyze budgets, forecasts, and reports to inform executive decisions.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners.
• Oversee company cash flow, investments, and liquidity.
• Supervise and develop accounting team members.
• Provide financial insights to cross-functional teams on business initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline financial processes.

Assistant Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in finance/accounting roles.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, reporting, and financial systems.
• Confident communicator and collaborator, with excellent analytical skills.
• Experience in ERP environments and a knack for process improvement.
