First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an Assistant Collections Manager to join our Consumer Loan Collections Department Team. In this role, you will be a ssisting with managing the Consumer Loan Collections Department (CLCD), which includes the collection activities and reporting on delinquent customers. The Assistant Collections Manager serves as the deputy Collections Manager that is responsible for defining, executing, and reinforcing the department's key procedures, practices, and initiatives. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (hours may vary) Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is: $55,000 - $70,000/ per year; commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in business, related filed, or equivalent work experience required Two (2) years of managerial or supervisory experience in collections, customer service, product management, or within the banking or financial services industry required Master's degree in business administration or two (2) years of work experience with compliance/collections laws and regulations, legal field, or auditing preferred Collections experience strongly preferred Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills essential Able to manage, govern and set direction for Operations personnel Able to comprehend and manage analytical workflows and processes Able to handle confidential matters judiciously Must be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook and Excel Must be detail oriented with excellent organization skills to perform multiple tasks simultaneously within strict timeframes Excellent time and attention management skills Ability to work with individuals at all levels Benefits:  We proudly offer a comprehensive benefits program for all employees.
