BEA Global Services Centre (Guangdong) Co., Limited, formerly known as East Asia Digital Information Services (Guangdong) Limited, was established in 2002 providing back-office support on Technology and Operations services to cater for the growth needs of the Bank of East Asia’s Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and overseas operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the managed services providers and internal teams to design, develop and implement system infrastructures utilizing cloud management platform and related infrastructure based on user and business requirements oversee the cloud.
• Collaborate with other teams for new technology solution setup and POC deployment
• Manage and support the managed services provided by external vendors on the operation of the BEA’s cloud platform, which covers support and operations of all cloud-related system infrastructure
• Monitor the performance of the managed services, ensuring compliance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and sufficient resources are provided with high quality of services.
• Lead the troubleshooting of any issue, risk, production incident, problem or irregularity related to cloud-related system infrastructure and its operation. Prepare incident/problem reports as appropriate, follow up the remediation action and improvement plan.
• Monitor the managed services providers to ensure the defined procedure on the change preparation, implementation and post implementation review are followed.
• Work with the managed services providers to support new project deployment and on-boarding of application systems to Cloud infrastructure.
• Work with the managed services providers to implement disaster recovery (DR) drill according to the defined DR plan and procedure.
• Support cloud governance team and managed services providers to define the continuous service improvement plan to address any potential operation issue or risk.
• Develop training program to ensure team members possess adequate knowledge and skills related to their job roles
• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor(s) Qualifications: University graduate, preferably with a major in Computer Science or equivalent with:
• Over 6 years’ experience in the banking industry/financial institutions covering:
• At least 1 year in Cloud operations and cloud transformation projects;
• At least 3 years in a team lead/management role;
• Solid experience in managing operations of system infrastructure including computing system, storage, network
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies;
• Good project management, problem solving and leadership;
• Certification in AWS Cloud Certificates or related professional qualifications;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (fluent in Putonghua is preferable); and
• Ability to work independently and under high pressure with self-motivation.
