• ⁦Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger transactions.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Monitor and analyze project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers to track expenses and ensure budget compliance.
• Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Supervise AP/AR functions, including vendor payments, client billing, and collection.
• Ensure timely invoicing and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Oversee payroll accounting and compliance with labor regulations.
• Maintain and account for company fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff.
• Review work of subordinates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Optimize accounting processes and systems (e.g., ERP software Dynamics AX365).
• Assist with the implementation of financial modules and software upgrades.

Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certification is preferred)

Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certification is preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, project accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with construction ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics AX365).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
