About This Job:
The Assistant Case Coordinator is responsible for providing support to adolescents/young adults participating in a transitional living program which provides participants with the skills and abilities to transition to independent living. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching and supporting daily living tasks, documenting use of skills and progress, ensuring facility cleanliness, safety and security, and transporting youth to internships, jobs, vocational/technical classes, and appointments.
- Provide support to youth in the program by teaching and supporting daily living tasks
- Adhere to documentation requirements including the youth’s skills and progress
- Ensures facility cleanliness, safety, and security
- Conducts room searches, will know the intended whereabouts of each participant in the program at all times
- Transports youth to internships, jobs, vocational/technical classes, and appointments as needed
- Conducts perimeter searches and pat searches
Schedule and Rate of Pay:
- 40 hours per week:
- Monday 9:00am-9:00pm - 12 hours
- Tuesday 3:00pm-12:00am - 9 hours
- Wednesday 3:00pm-11:00pm - 8 hours
- Friday noon-11:00pm - 11 hours
- Hourly paying position at $22.50 per hour
- Eligible for time and a half/ overtime
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED – required
- Valid driver’s license - required
- 1 year minimum of Experience Directly Working with System-Involved Youth - required
- Lived Experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
