Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of month-end reporting within tight deadlines
  • Prepare and post non-standard and margin related journal entries for UDW
  • Reconcile month end margin Alteryx outputs
  • Participate in the recurring UDW trading account process as required
  • Reconcile certain UDW general ledger accounts
  • Play an active role in ensuring Group Reporting submissions are completed in a timely manner
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget & forecasts
  • Prepare variance analysis to support the Financial Controller and FP&A team.
  • Support accountants with preparation of the UDW statutory financial statements and completion of the interim and year-end audits
  • Proactive engagement with PBS team based in Vilnius
  • Ensure assigned internal controls are completed in line with agreed processes
  • Active participation in ad-hoc projects to support the wider PHX Ireland business

Required Experience

  • Part qualified or an equivalent third level qualification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an Assistant Accountant or equivalent in a fast paced Finance function
  • Open Accounts or Awards experience would be desirable
