Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out assigned tasks given in a particular project in a timely manner and acceptable quality
  • Ensure project goals and KPIs are met
  • Abide by QHSE requirements and BV Code of Ethics
  • Consistently record man-hours in weekly timesheet

Specific

  • Work closely with AMS Principal/Lead Engineer/Senior Engineer to ensure business targets are met
  • Deliver consistent technical advice to client and identify potential for improvement
  • Perform the development of Maintenance Engineering activities such as Asset Register, Inventory, Criticality, SCE Performance Standard, Preventative Maintenance, Job Plans/work instructions, BOM, and optimization including CMMS implementation
  • Perform risk & mitigation engineering studies such as RCM, FMECA, IPF
  • Perform assessment related to the integrity and reliability
  • Develop maintenance plan strategies and procedures for equipment reliability and integrity
  • Review actions from such a study, relevant progress and the need of any further action
  • Create a list of recommendations with related risk and priority ranking for client’s review and support
  • Work with and form good working relationship the client’s Engineering, Maintenance and Operations staff to get information and input required for the studies
  • Work in close collaboration with the client, client’s appointed focal points, vendors, sun-contractors
  • Facilitate Challenge Session and Technical Discussion with Client and responsible for explaining the criteria and reasons behind the selection of engineering decision
  • Manage the development of missing and/or updating of engineering drawings and documentation
  • Support preparation of technical and commercial proposal for bidding
  • Support and deliver the continuous improvement in work methodology, planning and execution
  • Support schedule, tracking and progress as part of the overall project
  • Familiarize with the client’s specifications & requirements
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any related studies
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience as Mechanical or Rotating or Static or Reliability or Maintenance or Planning (Mechanical) or Inspection Engineer in process or manufacturing plant or Engineering/Consultancy
  • Fluency in written and verbal of English
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks and projects at same time
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information during workshop discussion with clients
  • A team player
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Ability to work and cooperate with external parties (clients, vendors, sub-contractors, etc.).
  • Experienced in the usage of international codes and standards
  • Knowledgeable in Risk Analysis concept and methodology for plant operations and maintenance.
  • Experience in performing technical studies using reliability & integrity tools (SCE integrity management, RCM, RAM, FMECA etc.) will be an advantage
  • Experience in developing Preventative Maintenance Strategy (Inspection, Testing and Maintenance tasks) from the risk reliability and integrity methods above including developing SCE Assurance Task and Performance Standard will be an advantage
  • Experienced in asset management system, Maintenance Management Systems for scheduling and planning will be an advantage
  • Work requires willingness to work at flexible schedule.
  • Ability to work alone and unsupervised at times with minimum supervision
  • Work requires local and overseas travel and may require evening and weekend work
