The New Energy Challenge (NEC) 2025 is an annual start-up and scale-up competition organized by Shell in partnership with Unknown Group, Yes!Delft, and Rockstart. THIS YEAR IT IS THE 10TH EDITION, NEC AIMS TO identify and support innovative companies developing solutions for the energy transition.

NEC provides start-ups with access to Shell’s innovation ecosystem, mentorship from industry leaders, and the opportunity to develop collaborations that could accelerate their impact in the energy sector.

In addition to the NEC 2025 project, the intern will get the opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day collaborative project work with start-ups and will get exposure to how open innovation in a large research organization works. This will include the technical side but also the commercial side of working with external companies.

Intern competencies/Skills required:

• Master students must be in his/her penultimate year studying business administration
• Project management & organization or other related studies
