RoomReady is expanding our Assembly Team in the Chelmsford, MA facility. The Assembly Technician is an entry-level position that is primarily responsible for building and assembling AV systems in preparation for installation. The Assembly Technician will follow instructions from the Assembly Manager to execute tasks based on job priority and skill level.

Key Responsibilities
- Picks products and prepares cables for project assembly
- Test cabling after termination is made to ensure the performance of the system
- Records serial numbers and equipment-specific information for the RoomReady equipment sheet
- Keep up to date with new AV Integration Technology
- Assembles AV system racks and staging of AV equipment.
- Interprets AV system wiring diagrams.
- Learns and executes basic cable termination techniques
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with assembly operating procedures within established time frames.
- Maintain positive customer interaction throughout every job and perform work with the best interest of RoomReady in mind.

Skills and Qualifications:
As an Assembly Technician, the ideal candidate will need:
- Ability to learn and follow directions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tool usage and safety.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to learn and perform soldering
- Familiarity with programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies as they are introduced to the Company.
- Ability to present self in a professional manner and positively represent the company.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ year(s) of experience in marketing or sales leadership.
- Experience managing teams of 5 or more.
Compensation & Benefits
The hiring range starts at $19-23/hr depending on experience and location. A comprehensive benefits package includes low cost/or free employee medical, employer full paid dental, and vision, along with a 401(k) option. Paid time off and paid holidays.
