We are looking for a new ideal team player as an Assembler - Part Time in our Assembly department! The Assembler - Part Time position is responsible for performing repetitive work at the workstation or line-assembly operations to produce products until they are completed by performing the following duties.

• Performs any assembly-type functions using hands and occasionally a hand tool.
• Operates blister machine.
• You are a team player, thorough and detail-orientated, very observant, and have technical abilities.
• Operates any equipment needed to perform the job.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Operate manual and/or electric pallet jack.
• Use of shrink wrap machine.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Completes tasks as directed by the department supervisor with minimum supervision.
• Lift and move and stack boxes up to 10 lbs.
• Lift and move stack counter display up to 25 lbs.
• Lift and move floor display up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 5 hours at a time without a break.
• Performs any related duties as needed by the department supervisor.

Requirements

You may have experience in a manufacturing facility, but if you don’t that’s okay, we will train you! We prefer you have a high school diploma or a General Education Degree (G.E.D).

Schedule

The weekly work schedule for this part time position is Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

The employee works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, often lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Equipment Used

Blister machine, box cutter, hand and machine taper, forklift, pack mule, and other mechanical devices used in a warehouse.
