**Hiring for Assembly Technician in Conover, NC pay up to $21/hr.** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow assembly procedures accurately. This role involves working with blueprints, small machinery, and hand tools to assemble and ensure the quality of parts. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret simple blueprints, specifications, and work orders to verify assembly process and quality requirements. + Take direction from the supervisor to understand assembly procedures and production goals. + Follow assembly procedures to build parts using hands and small machinery. + Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. + Position, align, or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly. + Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. + Pack finished parts for shipment, including labeling, bagging, and adding instruction information. + Examine products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL testing. + Identify quality issues, determine causes, and rework parts as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Integrity, reliability, responsibility, and accountability. + Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written. + Ability to perform work in a safe manner. + High attention to detail with strong vision and hearing. + Ability to learn new machines and production procedures. + Capability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks. + Manual dexterity for coordinated hand and finger movements. + Ability to stand for 8 hours a day. + Skill in active listening and following directions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing, packing, and machine operation. + Familiarity with hand tools and light industrial settings. + Forklift operation and general labor experience. **Why Work Here?** This is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally and personally with a skill matrix that includes pay increases at demonstrated benchmarks.
