Job Description: We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong expertise in COBOL400, CL400, and DB2/400. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze and troubleshoot COBOL programs independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support and enhance legacy systems. Key Responsibilities: * Analyze, develop, and support applications written in COBOL400 and CL400 on the AS400 platform * Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting * Perform independent analysis of COBOL programs to identify bugs, enhancements, and performance improvements * Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and operations teams to resolve issues and implement system changes * Provide technical documentation and participate in code reviews as needed * Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support Required Skills & Experience: * 5+ years of hands-on experience with AS400, COBOL400, CL400, and DB2/400 * Strong SQL skills with proven experience in data analysis and reporting * Ability to independently analyze and modify COBOL programs * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset * Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Preferred: * Prior experience in finance, insurance, or large enterprise environments
