Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Trainee, located in Chennai. The Article Trainee will be responsible for assisting in various accounting and auditing tasks, including preparing financial statements, conducting audits, performing tax computations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves researching and staying updated on changes in tax laws and accounting principles. Collaboration with senior auditors and accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting will be a key part of the daily activities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation principles
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to conduct research and stay updated on regulatory changes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
