Summary

The Art Director at OXYGEN Group APAC is a key creative role responsible for leading the visual direction, design language, and executional craft of campaigns across digital, print, and multimedia platforms. Working in close collaboration with copywriters, designers, and content creators, the Art Director brings ideas to life through compelling visuals that align with brand strategy and creative vision.


This role demands strong conceptual thinking, hands-on design ability, and a keen eye for visual storytelling, with the ability to take ideas from concept to production while upholding world-class design standards.

// Key Responsibilities

Creative Concept & Design Leadership

  • Develop and execute creative concepts, campaign key visuals, and content aesthetics across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and Creative Directors on campaign ideation and pitch development.
  • Create visual storyboards, layouts, and prototypes for campaigns, TVCs, social content, and digital experiences.

Visual Execution & Art Direction

  • Provide visual direction and reference for all content produced — including static, motion, and experiential.
  • Oversee shoots, production processes, and art supervision when required.
  • Ensure all visuals meet client brand guidelines and campaign strategy.

Collaboration & Team Contribution

  • Partner closely with Designers, Creative Producers, Motion Graphic Artists, and Content Teams.
  • Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Participate in internal brainstorms, creative reviews, and critiques.

Client Engagement

  • Support Creative Directors in presenting concepts and visual ideas to clients.
  • Prepare and articulate visual recommendations and campaign aesthetics clearly.
  • Respond constructively to client feedback and contribute to refining visuals.

  • 3-5+years of experience in creative or design roles within agencies or media environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign visuals, digital design, and integrated brand work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects is a plus).
  • Proficiency in AI tool
  • Experience in motion design, photography direction, or styling is an advantage.
  • Strong typography, layout, and storytelling skills.
