Armed Guard Job Description

Location: Canton, MI, 48187

This Position is 16 hours a week. Four 4-hour shifts. Must work Saturdays. Monday-Friday you are able to create your own schedule between the hours of 9a-6p. Unless for some reason the client requests a specific day one week. This position will be 30-90 days depending on level of dependability and class shown by our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Protecting the premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, permitting entry.
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers.
• Controlling traffic by directing drivers.
• Maintaining organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Ensuring operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
