Summary

Role Purpose : Regional Manager has operational and financial responsibility for the assigned territory to achieve the set sales and financial objectives through successful planning and implementation of business plans. He/She manages full spectrum of retail operations and implement best practices across the level. This role is a dedicated resource to bring a sharp focus on all operational capabilities, programs, processes, and procedures.


Job Description :

  1. Key function is to achieve overall goals and objective of the assigned stores/territory/region, specifically the set sales and financial objectives through successful planning and implementation of business plans.
  2. Ensures that the retail operations comply to all policies and procedures relating to operations, security, health and safety; influences any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, ensuring minimum risk to staff members and the business.
  3. Proactively manages and reviews the performance and progress of retail stores/regions and subordinates, sets objectives and targets; develop individual training plans for the team, conduct Performance-Improvement-Plan (PIP) for underperformed subordinates.
  4. Lead, coach and inspire our Retail team members to deliver the best shopping experience to our consumers.
  5. Responsible for Retail team member’s level of Product Knowledge and the ability to communicate it to customers in keeping with SK standards.
  6. Lead continuous improvement efforts to drive consistent operational performance nationwide.
  7. Leadership requires managing, motivating, incentivizing and empowering sales team with soul and perceive value added.
  8. Works with the HR to ensure people management issues are satisfactorily resolved and relevant HR policies and procedures are adhered.
  9. Recruits, trains and develops talents within the department.
  10. Facilitate mentees/new hires to provide guidance, support, and knowledge transfer. To boost the mentee's growth and success by leveraging the mentor's experience.
  11. Work with VMD team to develop & implement visual merchandising plan according to SK product's mood board to increase store traffic and campaign reach.
  12. Assist for the successful initiation, planning, design execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. He/ she will responsible on operations aspect such as the pre-opening planning & execution, setting up the store and ensure the success of the store opening project.
  13. Managing stock replenishment and stock movement for retail stores through inter-store transfers and/or replenishment from HQ to ensure stock level at an expected healthy level.  Conduct periodic stock count & stock take to ensure stock are tally.
  14. Produce & analyze the business reports regularly, studying competitors, understand the challenges to meet business KPI, create and implement sales tactical campaigns to meet the sales and financial objectives.
  15. Maintain effective working relationship with all landlords, agents, suppliers, vendors, contractors, principals and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  16. To assist Head of Retail to control & monitor the retail operating plans and budget.
  17. To plan, implement & manage digital marketing segment at the assigned stores/territory/region to achieve the sales and financial objectives.
  18. Produce, maintain and improve relevant operations reports to maintain excellent retail operations level at all times.


Requirement :

  1. Minimum 3 year or more of multi-store management experience required in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment and results-driven track record.
  2. Preferably 3-4 years of working experience as Area Manager or managerial positions in Retail industry.
  3. Required Skill(s): Google Sheet, Ms.Office, with a favorable understanding of Retail POS (Point of Sale) system.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
  5. Diligent, an eye for details, resourceful, highly adaptable and able to work independently.
  6. Strategic mindset and excellent executor.
  7. Willing to travel/outstation or relocated nationwide.
