Summary

The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a values-driven Area Manager to lead and inspire a passionate retail team across stores in Northern South Australia. You'll also work closely with Regional Managers and stakeholders to deliver on key strategic and operational objectives — including sales growth, surplus generation, safety, and community engagement.


This is a permanent, full-time position, based at Angle Park, SA.



Key Focus Areas:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to set and deliver store strategies aligned with national goals.
  • Lead and support store teams to meet performance targets (sales, safety, surplus, and service). This includes eCommerce related performance.
  • Implement, drive and support relevant customer strategies within Area and stores.
  • Develop, monitor, achieve and manage sales, expenditure, stock and production KPIs and surplus budgets for the Area. Continually adopt proactive cost-effective measures.
  • Manage new store openings, renewals and closures.
  • Ensure operational excellence and compliance across all locations.
  • Drive recruitment of volunteers and employees to meet the need of the organisation.



You Will Have:

  • A Diploma level qualification in Management, Business or Retail (preferred).
  • Experience and success in retail and leadership management.
  • Experience in multi-site retail management.
  • Alignment with the values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
  • A valid driver's licence.
