Summary

We are seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to become part of our dynamic and collaborative team of architects and interior designers. We’re looking for a professional with strong design sensibilities and leadership experience, someone who can guide clients toward achieving their workplace goals while mentoring fellow team members.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, responsible, and proactive. This role works directly under the guidance of our Director of Tenant Design and serves as the primary point of contact for clients. Senior Project Managers are accountable for the overall success of projects—including client satisfaction, financial performance, and team leadership.

While this position is based in-office, some travel may be required. We offer flexible work schedules to support a healthy work/life balance and accommodate family needs. Our typical benefits package includes healthcare coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote our unique value to potential clients and contribute to winning new projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and lead meetings with clients and construction teams.
  • Coordinate internal and consultant workflows to maintain project momentum.
  • Review space plans and designs for code compliance and alignment with client objectives.
  • Obtain client approvals for space plans, design concepts, and FF&E selections.
  • Direct documentation efforts to ensure accurate construction documents.
  • Collaborate with consultants to meet all technical project requirements.
  • Review construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support bid evaluations alongside project managers.
  • Oversee construction administration and manage day-to-day progress.
  • Ensure team productivity and project profitability.
  • Issue additional service requests to clients when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Design or equivalent professional experience.
  • Interior Design license preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in tenant design or office workplace projects.

  • Strong organizational and self-management abilities
  • Effective team-building and leadership capabilities
  • Deep understanding of design and construction processes
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, structural)
  • Familiarity with building codes and ADA/TAS standards
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Intermediate proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Solid graphic communication skills
  • Strong mentoring skills and the ability to lead both clients and internal staff
