AHV Communities is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager with project management skills to aid in the development and management of conceptual sites, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and landscape plans. This role will oversee and manage residential and amenity building design for luxury single-family rental communities.
Responsibilities:
· Work with internal departments on project and product design concepts for new acquisitions and developments
· Manage project consultants, including but not limited to the architect, structural, MEP, and interior designer
· Review RFPs, scopes, schedules, and design concepts
· Coordinate with purchasing to help maintain community specifications
· Assist the Purchasing Department and negotiate contracts related to architectural products and drawings
· Coordinate with the construction team on construction administration tasks, such as responding to RFI’s and including pertinent consultants.
· Develop interior and exterior architectural detailing using Bluebeam or AutoCAD/Revit
· Research new trends within the industry and consumer profiles and understand submarket design standards for product design and material selection
· Must be willing and able to travel
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of previous interior design, architectural, or project management experience needed
· Skilled in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu; Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD/Revit experience is a plus.
· Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
· Strong space planning skills and ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans
· Highly organized with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and in a team
· Must have strong personal initiative and desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment
Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000 depending on experience level
