We are looking for a motivated and passionate professional eager to be part of our creative culture. Primary accountability for this position will revolve around contract, budget, scope and schedule. The Verizon Project Leader / Manager will work in collaboration with the INFORM design and MEP engineering on prototypical Verizon projects across the country. Verizon has been an INFORM client for over 20 years and we have completed over 500 projects together to date. Fundamental to the PM role is spearheading the team’s efforts in achieving project financial goals, collaborating with the project team to define and execute strategies to achieve these, and tracking and capturing the results. The Verizon Project Leader / Manager will lead and facilitate professional service activities and processes from the initial marketing efforts to scope refinement and planning. As a multidisciplinary practice, you will have the opportunity to work in close association with our architecture and engineering disciplines to ensure we remain effective in the delivery of our professional services.

INFORM Studio is a woman-owned architectural and design practice with offices in metro Detroit and Chicago. We specialize in the design of mixed-use, community, cultural, retail, urban design, and multi-family projects across the nation. As a team of architects, interior designers, engineers, and urban and computational designers, we are focused on changing the way the built environment is designed and delivered to bring positive change.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·       Lead architectural and managerial responsibilities throughout all project phases, including proposals, design, documentation, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and closeout.

·       Collaborate in a team-based structure under senior-level supervision, working closely with

Architectural Designers and internal/external partners.

·       Establish and maintain client relationships to deliver high-quality architectural and engineering services.

·       Apply prototype design standards to existing and new retail spaces, ensuring consistency

and excellence.

·       Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedule, quality, and documentation.

·       Coordinate with internal teams, external design partners, contractors, vendors, and

jurisdictional authorities (AHJ) to ensure seamless project execution.

·       Oversee the approval process for all jurisdictional stakeholders.

·       Ability to travel for short-term assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

·       3-5 years of industry experience

·       1-3 years of Project Management Experience preferred

·       Extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional services from business development through project close-out, including design and technical expertise. Experience in project financial management.

·       Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, Newforma and proficiency with Revit preferred.

·       Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills.

·       Professional Degree in Architecture, Interiors or Engineering preferred.

·       Excellent visual and written storytelling skills

·       Advanced InDesign skills

·       Ability perform and lead multiple marketing efforts against rapid and concurrent deadlines

·       Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

·       Proficiency with videography and editing software
