Join the Microsoft Innovation Hub (the Hub) in Amsterdam as a Senior Architect Modern Work. We are looking for a leader in the Modern Work domain to help large enterprises transform their business using the Microsoft Cloud. In this role, you will work with C-level executives and decision-makers in Microsoft enterprise accounts and next-generation companies. The Hub is a premium customer-facing facility where we solve business challenges with innovative solutions. Our senior architects help customers understand what’s possible and make it real through tailored engagements. As an Architect, you will be at the forefront of Microsoft innovation, helping customers create and implement their digital transformation strategy. Responsibilities Deliver customer engagements: Based at your facility location, you will prepare and deliver technical engagements to enterprise customers. These include Business envisioning, Solution envisioning, Architecture design, Rapid prototype, and Hackathon. You take a cross-solution view to leverage capabilities across the entire Microsoft cloud platform. You will work collaboratively with account teams to determine the best engagements for a given opportunity to maximize customer benefit and accelerate deals success. Solution design: Using your technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer’s technical decision to buy and use Microsoft solutions and cloud services. Set vision: You will use your technical knowledge to show customers an inspiring digital vision, across all Microsoft workloads, as well as deeper engagement in your core technology specialism. You will make this digital vision real using the architecture skills of you and your peers to provide a complete solution. Build strategy: You will map the agreed customer vision into a strategy for implementation, resolving concerns, removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment. You will work with the customer, wider account team resources and our partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation. An expert in modern workplace: Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value on top of the Microsoft 365 platform. Synthesize business and technical architecture requirements. Serve as the as the go-to technical expert in the Microsoft 365 space for the regional sales teams. The opportunity to deliver speaking engagements evangelizing Microsoft 365 in business conferences. Qualifications Must haves Technical depth: Experience as a solutions architect in Microsoft’s modern workplace toolset. Ability to explain key end-user solutions and technical architectures in Office 365, Co-pilot Windows, and deployment tools like Azure Active Directory Premium and Intune. Deep technical competence in Security/Compliance and design of modern workplace architectures aligned to regulatory and governance models. Technical breadth: Intermediate experience across Microsoft cloud solutions – Azure infrastructure, Azure Developer, Azure data, AI, business applications, modern workplace, productivity, security, and business applications. Experience in solution architectures spanning multiple workloads. Industry expertise: Understanding of key industry trends and challenges in one or more industries, including architecture, industry partners/ISVs, and innovations. Knowledge of regulatory requirements like NIS2, DORA, and CSRD. Experience: Extensive technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with significant technical pre-sales or consulting experience. Additional & Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Structured facilitator. Validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue, risk and constraint identification Design Thinking. Proven experience of delivering design thinking; ‘ideation’; or similar context analysis / problem framing. Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
