Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to lead the design and execution of our residential product lines. This is a key role within the company, overseeing the entire design process from schematic concepts to final construction documents and stamping.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Schematic Approvals

  • Collaborate with the owners to design new floor plans and schematic-level exteriors.
  • Manage approvals with developers and Architectural Review Committees (ARC).
  • Assist in researching materials and maintaining general code compliance.

Construction Document Coordination

  • Hand-off schematic designs to a lead drafter and provide guidance as details are developed.
  • Coordinate supporting documentation including:
  • Structural Engineering / Truss Packages
  • Civil Drawings
  • Landscape Plans

Final Review & Stamping

  • Review final CD packages for detail accuracy and code compliance.
  • Stamp plans as the architect of record (if licensed).

Onsite Execution

  • Problem-solve onsite variables that impact the construction process.
  • Be available to the construction team for questions and clarifications.
  • Participate in final walk-throughs to evaluate and improve plan accuracy and detailing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed Architect in Utah or within 3 months of obtaining licensure.
  • 3+ years of residential architectural experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Revit, or equivalent drafting software.
  • Strong understanding of IRC (Single Family) and IBC (Townhome) code.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear communicator and team collaborator.
