Summary

Hawkins\Brown is looking for an enthusiastic Architect to join our Dublin studio.

Hawkins\Brown is an architecture practice based in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Dublin and Toronto. We are a progressive, award-winning studio, and one of the leading design-based architectural practices in the UK. In Dublin we are currently working on an impressive portfolio of projects including Parnell Cultural Quarter, Cork Docklands Framework Masterplan and Norman Themed Visitor Centre.

Applicants should have cross-sector experience throughout all project stages, excellent communication skills as well as exceptional detailing and organisation skills. The ideal candidate should also have leadership and project management abilities. Revit proficient applicants preferred, with 3+ years of experience as a qualified Architect (RIAI/RIBA/RIAS or equivalent).

The successful candidate will carry out the technical development of the project, and lead and manage the design team and its delivery of design information on time and within budget, as appropriate.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Understanding of CAD/BIM and implications on project management
  • Excellent design communication skills - written and verbal
  • Technical ability to specify and select products
  • Ability to produce coherent and well resolved architectural designs
  • Sound knowledge of building technologies, regulations and planning applications
  • Knowledge of technical standards, regulatory frameworks and health & safety requirements
  • Site experience
