Meta is seeking an Architect, Data Center Design professional to support Global Standards within the Data Center Design team. In this role, you will support CSLA standardization from ideation through change management processes, ultimately influencing and implementing decisions within the standards library for implementation globally. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our software operates enabling innovation for the company. Building and operating data centers the "right" way from the day they go live is synonymous with ensuring capacity availability and capital conservatism. The data center design team approaches facility design from the chips on the server boards to the facility mechanical and electrical distribution systems which ensure and maximize efficiency of our compute infrastructure.10+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Civil, Structural, Landscape and Architectural Experience with industry standards, building codes and safety standards Experience with Office, Revit/BIM and Bluebeam Experience improving cost assessment and design through different applications Experience with cross-discipline teams to design critical facility systems Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle Experience with planning strategy and tactics Experience troubleshooting and using analytical skills to make decisions supported by data Experience with formal change management processes Proven track record in team management and shall have a background in all aspects of Civil, Structural, Landscape design & Architecture. Licensed Architect (RA) or Structural PE or Civil Engineer PE Minimum of 5 years of experience in mission critical facility, healthcare, laboratories, industrial or aerospace industry, design, construction, operations, and/or maintenance Owner's representative experience PMP certification LEED accreditation Understanding of site planning and interdependent disciplines, such as mechanical and electrical systems and project delivery processes needed to support our growing fleet of Data Centers.
