Architect Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and driven Architect with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within defined timelines and budgets. Responsibilities: Design Development: Collaborate with senior architects and project teams to assist in the development of architectural designs, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements. Drafting and Documentation: Prepare accurate and detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools. Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis of architectural concepts, materials, building systems, and construction techniques to inform design decisions and optimize project outcomes. Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating project activities, including reviewing construction documents, attending site meetings, and liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project progress and resolve any design-related issues. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and designers, to integrate various disciplines and ensure the cohesive execution of projects. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and architectural advancements to enhance personal and professional knowledge and skills. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about local building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards to ensure project compliance and sustainability. Client Communication: Assist in maintaining effective communication with clients, presenting design concepts, and addressing client feedback and concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Master's degree is a plus. Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in an architectural firm or a similar environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Familiarity with other design software and visualization tools is advantageous (AdobePhotoshop and Illustrator). Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural principles, building systems, construction techniques, and materials. Familiarity with building codes and regulations is essential. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex architectural challenges, propose innovative solutions, and make informed design decisions. Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
