ARCADE TECHNICIAN WEST ISLAND, QC Position: Arcade Technician, FULL-TIME Salary: $20 Per Hour Mira Amusement Family Entertainment is currently seeking an Arcade Technician to come join our team! Mira Amusement Group is a privately held company specializing in the operation of arcade rentals and a Family Entertainment Centre, located inside the Mega Centre de Sources, 46-C Brunswick Blvd., Pointe-Claire. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect, troubleshoot and repair various arcade games within our facility including, but not limited to: video games, skill games, redemption games, card swipes, audio, and video surveillance systems. Essential Job Function: Installing, maintaining, disassembling, reassembling and repairing arcade games Test electronic and mechanical functions of games, replace broken or missing parts, and ensure the games are running smoothly and all devices are working properly. Lifting and transporting large machines Keeping abreast of new technology Qualifications: - Excel in troubleshooting electronic and mechanical assemblies. - Understand the safe and proper use of power/hand tools. - Able to read and understand wiring diagrams. - Proficient in the use of computers and associated hardware. - Promptly perform required preventive maintenance of games and equipment. - Experience in component level circuit board repair and troubleshooting preferred. - Willing to work Day or Evening Shifts, Holidays, and Weekends. Additionally, applicants must: - Be self-motivated, but still be able to follow directions from others. - Be able and willing to reach out and to communicate with other support personnel. - Be well organized and able to multi-task. - Perform well under pressure and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. - Maintain a safe work environment. - Perform required safety inspections. - Be able to train or assist other staff members. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum two years’ experience as a game technician in the amusement industry.
