SUMMARY
Maintains and repairs arcade games and various equipment. Installs and sets up new games and equipment. Maintains and repairs tools and supplies necessary for maintenance of arcade games and equipment. Trains Team Members on how to use the equipment properly and to trouble shoot basic repair problems. Reports equipment defects for proper warranty handling. Responsible for warranty parts and supplies that are to be returned to the manufacturer. A Game Technician may not interact with guests on a regular basis, but his/her work is part of guest service every day. Follows instructions and works well with others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets all guests with a smile and pleasant verbal acknowledgement.
Assists guests with tokens, operations of games and rides, redemption of tickets, and purchases.
Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness of all games, rides, equipment, and floors.
Explains our operations and available amenities in a courteous fashion.
Reads electrical and other mechanical instructions and schematics.
Possesses knowledge of basic electronics.
Assists guests with special requests in a courteous and accountable fashion in an effort to assure the guests’ encounter is an incredibly fun-filled affair.
Works in a friendly, honest, diligent manner with a willingness to get along well with others at all times.
Cooperates with all Team Members when assigned additional tasks.
Maintains uniform standards.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certificate of Completion of Basic Electronic/Mechanical Technician Course.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Mechanical and electrical skills mandatory.
· One year of related experience and/or training; or· Equivalent combination of education and experience. COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to maintain daily time record on JIPC proprietary software after training completed.
General knowledge of computers including word processing, graphics, scheduling and spreadsheet applications.
ELECTRONIC SKILLS
Able to read electrical schematic and trouble shoot bad switches and sensors
Able to use a Multi Meter and have knowledge of low voltage 5V-24V and High voltage 110V-220V
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and managers of the JIPC organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract simple math, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, sales tax, and percentages.
