The Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Team has a great opportunity for a Supplier Strategy and Performance (SSP) Lead in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead a team in the development of Supplier Strategy and Performance. What You Will Do: The SSP Associate Director is responsible for overseeing and driving Supplier Strategy and Performance. This role leads a team of Inter-Organizational buyers (IOT), delivery assurance, Agreement Lead and Supplier Performance Managers, Procurement Professionals and Business Analysts to ensure strategic alignment with the APS SBU Procurement Organization. The position is key to improving decision-making and driving business growth through optimized resource allocation and process efficiencies. Key responsibilities of this role and the SSP team have been broken down into the below areas: Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOT) Procurement Lead team of buyers that support internal factory deliverables Team heavily engaged and interacts with IPT including MPMs, Finance, SQ/SE and Production Control Ensures expected delivery and quality requirements as well as cost control SBU Strategic Proposal Leadership Ensure SBU proposals are prioritized and supported by the Centralized Proposal Team Program proposal strategy aligns to procurement business strategy Eliminates process gaps between proposal and purchase to prevent performance impacts Leads Procurement Operations including oversight of The APS SBU CORE Control Room Data management within the procurement team to ensure consistent standard work and business results, as needed Creates and publishes communications supporting Business Operations and Leadership Reviews Drives continuous improvement and efficiency within procurement organization by defining projects as needed to support goal achievement and predictable performance Manage progress of planned/in-work claw backs and support Procurement in various reviews Leads SBU Long Term Agreement strategies and implementation including: Identify opportunities for new agreements (Agreement Coverage) Ensure existing agreements are being utilized (Agreement Utilization) Monitor progress of planned/in-work Agreements and support Procurement in various reviews Monitor existing agreements to avoid agreements expiring and gaps in coverage Leads SBU Supplier Performance Management by Deploying Supplier Performance Manager to SBU Critical Suppliers Identify opportunities for new Supplier Engagement Plans Monitor progress of planned/in-work Supplier Engagement Plans and support Procurement in various reviews Ensures delivery assurance by supporting data integrity from PO placement through goods receipt Leads knowledge sharing/training for the APS SBU Support maintains planned delivery times (PDT) material master (MM) lead times. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a bachelor's and a minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years' experience. Leadership experience managing people/teams. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer: Master's degree in a related field Experience in Supply Chain (experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Supplier Performance Management). Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments. Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team environment. Able to communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally. People management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: meeting facilitation, skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, change agent, manage relationships. Experience and track record of executive stakeholder management. The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
