Davis Home Pros is a small, successful, customer driven licensed General Building Contractor looking for the right person to join our team. We are an employee-owned cooperative corporation providing residential remodel and room addition services to homeowners throughout Central Contra Costa County. We are a leader in custom remodeling and are known for a creative approach to design, a high level of quality, & outstanding customer service.
We are currently seeking an entry-level apprentice who presents well, can interact with clients in a manner that reflects well on the company, has a strong work ethic, and has a demonstrated aptitude for learning the trades and developing problem-solving skills. This position is full-time, subject to work availability, and includes benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for the position will:
- Have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions.
- Have an aptitude for residential remodeling including: carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
- Be able to communicate their ability to apply basic problem-solving skills to a variety of situations.
- Have a history of taking on progressive responsibilities in previous work situations.
- Be capable of working well with others and independently.
- Enjoy the hands-on construction aspects of remodel work.
- Be a mature individual with a strong work ethic and good attitude.
- Be able to maintain a clean appearance and communicate with and treat customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Have excellent references.
- Have reliable transportation.

Compensation: competitive compensation with benefits following a probationary period. Membership in the company (i.e., an ownership share) is available following two years of full-time employment in accordance with the company’s bylaws.
