Reporting to Applications Support Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• System owner of assigned applications.
• Ensuring that these applications are well managed with minimal downtime and disruptions to the business users.
• Ensuring continuous enhancements and upgrades are aligned to technology roadmap of these applications.
• Managing enhancement and change request and ensure Software Development Life Cycle processes are followed.
• Managing vendor performance ensuring Service Level Agreement are met (where applicable), ensure investments are monitored and optimized.
• Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to foster collaboration and transparency.
• Gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve applications and services.
• Partnering with different IT stakeholders across infrastructure, compliance and cyber security to deliver system solutions.
• Supporting projects activities led by Project team as subject matter expert.
• Pro-actively engaging and building strong relationships with internal business stakeholders, external partners and technology solution providers.
• Evaluating business asks and needs, and translate them into detailed, unambiguous functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conducting fit and gap analysis between requirements and viable solutions.
• Challenging entrenched practices and processes and providing viable alternatives that can help the organization become more efficient and effective.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience in IT applications support role.
• Experience in providing operational support on IT systems and applications and vendor management.
• Able to accurately translate and document business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library process and best practices.
